Interior Space and Exhibition Design Pivot Apartment by Architecture Workshop Pivot is a pre-war studio renovated into an adaptable apartment with a secret bedroom for a client who hosts large dinners with overnight guests and a home office; a design for modern sustainable living within a tiny footprint. The project is an exploration of the power of custom design to adapt to changing requirements of its residents by taking advantage of functionally responsive cabinetry. Cabinetry creates various spatial experiences ranging from serene white to lush wood. Pivoting a wall reveals a wall-bed with storage while a table rises to become a counter or expands to seat guests.
