Interior Space and Exhibition Design Park Island Residential Apartment by Regina Kwok The owners gave Artwill the shortest brief ever: a freehand over the whole design. Taking this open mindset, Artwill found inspiration from the lightness and delicacy in the open plan of a loft. All walls were knocked down, letting one’s eyes to run down the 37-foot long apartment. This also meant the whole Tsing Ma Bridge could be seen through the balcony doors that ran the unit's length. Two rows of bookshelves delineated out a living area, working area, and bedroom. Shelves not filled up fully allowed light through from the next room, charging the apartment with a natural brightness.
